Here are some notes from our 8/28/18 session:
We discussed Full-spectrum Infra-red Sauna – You reported that you are not a sweater. 100% time in sauna, nosebleeds (dryness). Sensitive veins in nose. Cauterized.
I called the sauna place where I got my Full-spectrum sauna and asked about adding moisture to the sauna. One concern was for the wood (cedar) that might have a chance of molding over time, with too much moisture exposure.
I remembered something that I’ve done in the past that might be worth looking into. It involves sesame oil in the nasal cavity to prevent drying out, and I believe it might also create a healthy barrier against unwanted microbes. Below is an excerpt from a site that describes some Ayurvedic uses of sesame oil:
Sesame oil is especially useful for pacifying Vata. It is very nourishing, and prevents the skin from getting excessively dry. Sesame oil massaged into the scalp once a week is an excellent way to nourish the scalp and restore the natural balance and luster of hair.
Sesame oil can be a very versatile ally in your efforts toward better health.
Here are three ways to use it:
- Try sniffing it (nasya) to lubricate and protect your nose and sinuses, which are the ventilation systems for your brain. The oil helps clear mucus out of the sinuses. Just dip your little finger in the sesame oil you use for your massage and rub the oil inside of each nostril. Then pinch and release your nostrils rapidly while inhaling sharply.
- Gargle with it for two minutes. It’s not as bad as it sounds! Swish a mouthful of it, then spit it into the toilet and rinse your mouth out with warm water. It feels great, draws out mucus and has been shown to reduce gum disease and tartar build-up.
- Best of all, massage it all over your body to release skin impurities, then bathe or shower with warm water. If you have time, a warm tub bath increases circulation and is a means of further purification.

We talked about fermented foods, and I mentioned that pickles are generally not fermented anymore, unless they specifically say they are. Here is one true fermented brand of foods – https://amzn.to/2xcdekQ

I have a note here that says: Zeaxanthin I’m not sure why I wrote that, but it is a good supplement for eyes, similar to astaxanthin. You can read more about it here, and maybe it will spark a memory of why it came up in our conversation.
Skincare products we discussed when you asked what I used on my skin – this specific Ion Spritzer to moisture deeply – I use filtered water and add minerals. It supposedly also uses some sacred geometry in the design, as well. If you care to learn more about that, you can read these articles:

and I love the work of Dr. Gerald Pollard who is a genius on water – https://www.structuredwaterunit.com/articles/structuredwater/dr-gerald-pollack-and-structured-water-science
lastly, I do sell a product that is inexpensive and portable that creates structured drinking water and can be used for other uses, as well. If interested, ask me about reusable kiln bead pouches for water.
I also use Hyaluronic Acid after spritzing my skin – https://amzn.to/2Nj7QX9
I apply Skin Saver Face to all of my skin after spritzing and using hyaluronic acid
You reported: Bust is large, so it takes away from smaller waist appearance – measured distance of 5″ (estimate). From: Hormone – milk and beef every day. 44D (reducing) but still large with weight loss.
Stretching rib to hip area to trim the waist and uplift the bust – TIP: At Desk – push ribs up with resistance. You reported back that this is helping!!!
Consider looking into Estrogen dominance – https://blog.bulletproof.com/estrogen-dominance/
STRESS – Always experience weight gain on belly. – Cortisol creates belly fat. Fat on sides of breast (bulging) and back fat.
Your concerns and stress points: Feeling Mid-life crisis – dawn of elderlyness at 60 now. Trying to stay calm about that. Healthy, major changes, alive – happy about that. Wonder if I’m just going to be alone. Some Biblical encouragement below about feeling alone:
Deuteronomy 31:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

The Enneagram Global Summit 2018 – this is an educational and practical method of understanding and transforming your life into one that is more full of life and joy. Based on ancient traditions, some rooted in spiritual beliefs supported by Judaism, Catholicism, and Christianity. Take what you like, and leave what you don’t like. If you register for the summit (already over), you will still receive 4 recordings for free. This is a new resource that I find interesting.
